What's Happening on 6M? It's been awhile since I last updated this site! I've been working Six Meters for the last few years. I'm slowly but surely getting my VUCC credits. I currently have enough confirmed grids for the certificate but have yet to submit the paperwork for the wallpaper. My main Six Meter setups are a Yaesu FT 100D and a Yaesu 817 QRP rig. I have a Par OA-50 Loop and a 3 element Cushcraft AS503S yagi. Over the weekend of July 15, 2006 I worked the CQ VHF Worldwide contest. I submitted my log as single operator all band QRP. I worked the contest with 2.5 watts on the 817 and the Par Loop antenna. I worked 102 Q's, 69 grids and 5 DX stations for 7314 points from home. Out of that I had quite a few new grids. It was good fun over all. Grids Not Shown on Map include: DL95,FK49,FK58,FK68
